Lars Bruhn

Chairman

Lars Bruhn has over 30 years of high-tech experience, working as an entrepreneur and investor. Starting his career with a number of years in the pharmaceutical industry, Lars changed to the IT industry and headed the family-owned company BRUHN, which grew rapidly under his leadership before divestment to Canon Inc. in 1998.

Lars founded Bruhn Newtech in 1988, today the leading supplier of warning system software with customers in 29 countries and subsidiaries in the USA and the UK. Lars was appointed Innovation Champion 2009 in Denmark by Berlingske Nyhedsmagasin. Lars founded IVS in 1999, which in 2007 became NorthCap Partners in a merger with BankInvest IT venture, and grew this to become a leading Scandinavian venture capital investor within the ICT sector. At IVS Lars served as Managing Partner and Chairman, taking an active role in several portfolio companies as well as creating a unique extensive network locally and abroad.
